This years fibre advent calendar is going to be created from yummy super soft Merino wool, with a little extras like silk, cashmere and maybe a little sparkle occasionally. Each day you open a little surprise of 10g of fibre in total you will receive a minimum 240g of fibre but there are also little extras added along the way.
Some ideas that have been created with the hand spun advent calendar, a Night shift shawl, using the advent colours as the shifting colours and a base colour as the alternate. A sweet multi coloured baby sweater, or maybe one of the lovely cowels that are our there now for handspun yarn.
We will even have a couple of evenings in December where we will all get together to spin our calendar fibre.
